Beginning level for those new to yoga or to the Iyengar method.
Classes introduce beginning students to the fundamentals
of posture and breath. Many students repeat this class once.
Yoga for Athletes: An INTRO class specifically designed to help serious athletes integrate flexibility & strength.
A beginning class for students who wish to increase their
flexibility and strength and reduce stress through Yoga
but who may have some physical limitations and require
a less strenuous class.
Ageless: A continuing class (pre-requisite one INTRO class) for anyone who might have some physical limitations. Also for students who have taken Level 1 or 2 classes, but may need to slow down a bit and use more support.
Students have completed one or more sessions of Intro and are ready to progress.
Students are strong in standing and seated poses, practice shoulderstand with
confidence, and are ready to progress to more advanced inversions and backbends.
Level 3: Students are dedicated. They have a personal practice, a clear understanding of how to work with their specific needs and can move at a faster pace. The
Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are studied at this level.
Private classes are available for individuals and groups.
