Back pain is a problem
for many for countless reasons. Yoga, unlike other forms
of rehabilitative or conventional exercise, engages the
whole person. Flexibility, strength, and breath are linked
through precise, coordinated, total body movements. Each
class will progress slowly and systematically in order
to clarify how in the Iyengar method, alignment
is the foundation of an intelligent Yoga practice.
Supported and guided relaxation poses will also be integrated
into the course. A journey not only to increase your body
awareness and develop new skills, this experience will
quiet your mind, brighten your outlook and launch you on
a new path to pain management and renewal. Open to all
ages and levels of fitness, those with other issues are
also welcome to attend. This course is not appropriate
for those in acute distress or with recent injuries.
Class
size is limited and pre-registration is required. Register
early to avoid disappointment. Sorry, no phone or electronic
registrations are accepted. Your check will reserve your
place in a class. No refunds after 1/25/13. NOTE: We do not confirm enrollment. You
can assume you have received your first choice of a class
time if you don't hear back from us by the first week of
