Fall Weekend Workshop
with Laurie Blakeney
November 4 - 6, 2016

Laurie Blakeney, Senior Certified Iyengar teacher will be returning from Ann Arbor as our guest teacher. Classes will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday and the workshop ends at noon on Sunday.

Laurie Blakeney,co-director of the Ann Arbor School of Yoga, is a longtime dedicated student of B.K.S. Iyengar, Geeta Iyengar and Praschant Iyengar with whom she has studied in India on a yearly basis for over 30 years. Laurie is one of the most senior Iyengar Yoga teachers in our Midwest region, and we are honored to have her come to Iowa City to share here knowledge and experience.

Classes will be taught in the classical method as taught by the Iyengars. This workshop is open to any student who seeks an opportunity to deepen their understanding and knowledge of yoga. Sixteen weeks of ongoing Iyengar instruction with a certified teacher is recommended.

Workshop Fee: $220

Space is limited. This workshop will fill! Early Bird Discount! Subtract $20 from your fee, if your registration will be received by 10/15/16. No refunds after 10/15/2016.

If you are coming from out of town, please contact us ASAP
and we will try to arrange lodging with a local student.

The Maitri Yoga Education Fund will provide financial support for those in need. Scholarships are prioritized for currently enrolled Friendship Yoga Students. For more information and an application,
